GameScrubber makes free clean-language patches for popular PC games. Each patch finds the profanity in a game's English dialogue, audio, and on-screen text and quietly filters it — the F-word, S-word, and the rest — while leaving the story, the voice performances, the music, and the gameplay exactly as the developer made them. It's an optional, cleaner way to play a game you already own, not a different game.

It's built for players who love a game's world and writing but would rather not sit through the strong language: people streaming to an audience, parents and roommates within earshot, or anyone who simply prefers less of it. You apply a patch to your own legally-owned copy, and you can restore the original at any time. The edits are word-level and careful — spoken lines keep their full length and timing, and on-screen text keeps its layout — so nothing drifts or breaks. The patches filter English only; other languages are left exactly as the game shipped them.
